TEACH MORE. ADMIN LESS.

You did not train for six years to become a spreadsheet. Tutor Zen keeps the schedule, the lesson notes, the invoices and every learner's progress in one place — and hands the hours back.

A LEARNER FALLS BEHIND QUIETLY. THEN ALL AT ONCE.

Nobody notices in week three. Everybody notices in October. That gap is almost always lost to missing records, not missing skill.

Log a lesson in one tap and the record builds itself. Nine weeks later you are not guessing — you are pointing at a chart and telling a parent exactly what happens next.

01
The record builds while you teach
No end-of-term catch-up with a spreadsheet. The data arrives one tap at a time.
02
Weak topics surface early
The platform ranks what is soft per learner and keeps saying it until the number moves.
03
Parents get proof, not adjectives
A chart and a short note, monthly. Renewal conversations stop being awkward.
04
You get your Sundays back
Scheduling, invoicing and notes stop being a separate evening job.

PICK YOUR SUBJECT. WATCH THE PAGE CHANGE ITS MIND.

Topic-level tracking that matches how maths actually breaks: a learner is not "at 62%", she is fine on algebra and quietly lost in trig.

Topics
Mastery per topic
Trig, functions, Euclidean geometry — each tracked on its own so a weak spot cannot hide inside an average.
Lessons
One-tap lesson logs
Close the lesson, rate how it went, done. The note writes itself from what you tracked.
Papers
Past-paper scores
Log a past paper and it lands on the same chart as your lessons. Trend, not vibes.
Money
Invoices that go out on time
Every completed lesson becomes a line item. Send the month in one go.
Parents
Updates that write themselves
A monthly progress summary parents can read in forty seconds.
Groups
Group sessions that behave
One slot, four learners, four separate progress records. No duplicate admin.

THREE STEPS. THEN IT RUNS ITSELF.

01
Bring your learners over
Paste them in, or hand us the spreadsheet you have been nursing since 2022. We will not judge it out loud.
02
Teach. Tap done.
One tap closes the lesson, writes the invoice and asks a single question about how it went. Six seconds, tops.
03
Let the picture build
Every tap is a data point. By half-term you have a progress record no parent meeting can argue with.

FIND A TUTOR YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO GAMBLE ON.

Finding a tutor in South Africa usually means a WhatsApp group, a screenshot and a leap of faith. The Tutor Zen marketplace replaces that with something duller and far more useful: a verified profile backed by lessons the platform actually recorded.

ID verified
Government ID checked against the profile before anything goes live.
Qualifications confirmed
Degrees, diplomas and teaching registration checked at the source, not screenshotted.
References called
Two previous families, spoken to by a human on our side.
Lesson history is real
Hours and subjects come from lessons logged in the platform — a tutor cannot type their way to experience.
Already tutoring on Tutor Zen?
The marketplace is included on every paid plan — Solo, Studio and Agency. Your verified profile goes live the day it opens, with your real lesson history attached. Nothing extra to pay, nothing extra to set up.

From the founder
Yousha Shoaib
Founder, Tutor Zen

I built Tutor Zen because I was drowning in admin as a tutor myself.

Sunday nights went to a spreadsheet with eleven tabs. Invoices went out late, or twice. And when a parent asked how their child was actually doing, I had a feeling — not a record. The teaching was the easy part; everything around it was the job I never applied for.

So this is the tool I wanted: small, quick, and built for how tutoring really works here. Join the early group and you get my number. Tell me what is wrong with it.

Early access is running now in small groups; general launch is planned for the start of the next school year. You will get a date, not a countdown timer.
